Dear Molly, Thank you for sharing your learning from both texts. I am impressed that you picked up the importance of how the soldiers felt and why they needed pets. You are right about what is similar between both texts - they are both sad and demonstrate the sacrifices they made to protect our country. Mrs Aperahama
