Smart surfing!

 Today just for fun we had to translate merry christmas into five different languages and then write them down on a google slide.I choose Dutch Portuguese Spanish Italian French.

Today we also made these really cool christmas gifs.I made a snowman.

 

Today we were visualising Mr Twit or Mrs Twit.I chose Mr Twit.He has food in his beard because he doesn't bother to wash it.  

 
 

 Today we were learning how to write a diamante poem.A diamante poem is a poem but the shape of a diamond and only has a few words.When you read a diamante poem you saw it with expression and drama.We wrote our poems about kapa haka.We had our kapa haka performance on tuesday.We used adjectives nouns and verbs.  

 Today we had cybersmart.Our cybersmart teacher Mrs torrie introduced summer learning journey.Summer learning journey is basically something that you can do during the summer holidays.It's not the summer holidays yet but she just wanted us to know what it is and what you do in it.You can do all kinds of subjects on it like maths science technology and i'm pretty sure that you can also do writing.I enjoyed playing around with the colours and seeing if I can do one color like the original.

 This week me and my best friend Emma worked together on this wevideo project.It took us a while to finish but eventually we did finish it.I enjoyed playing around with the settings as much as making the video.  

Today we were learning about Parihaka and what it was about.We made peace flowers the writing on the top will explain to what Parihaka is about.

 This week and last week we had to draw or create a blog post of a service poster.I decided to do it with my friends Emma and Theo.

I found it difficult to work as a team because we all had different ideas. 

Term 3 goal reflections

 Today we had to do our term three goal reflections then once we finished it we had to put in a picture of ourselves.Then we had to post it to our blog.I put in Fitness/P.E as my highlight. 

 Today we were learning how to create an online book on book creator.We did them about Maara-Kai.If your wondering what Maara-kai my book will tell you all about.

Today we were learning about what shellfish.We learnt about what they eat i clean water and in dirty water.We had to do an experiment with clean water and dirty.
I enjoyed writing about what shellfish eat in clean water and dirty water.
I found it hard to think about what they ate in dirty water.
Next time I would change my background and my answers.

Today we were exploring other peoples blogs.We had to write what year they were in what school there are in and are some interesting facts about them.

Today I was learning how to write a report.We got to chose any animal as long as it lived in the sea.I found it difficult to chose an animal. I enjoyed posting it to my blog and writing about it. I am really good at reading and writing.I enjoyed reading novels and chapter books. I also like listening to music. My favourite pop singer is Ariana Grande. My goal for this year is to get better at times tables and spelling.
